Bruce I Campbell ~ Studio of Fine Art
Winner in the Patuxent Art League’s 18th Annual Open Juried Exhibition!
2cnd Place Prize for: Dun Dun Dancing
I will be exhibiting at the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) in late Summer 2009 with an opening reception and artist talk to be announced. The Exhibition entitled “Mastering Tradition - Bruce I Campbell Master Copies” include selected Old Master Paintings from the National Gallery of Art’s (NGAs) permanent collection. The work represents a dozen years of commitment to traditional realism from old Masters of the 16th, 17th, 18th, & 19th centuries. My artwork will be on loan and display for one year.
Over the years, the FRB’s Fine Arts Program has organized more than 130 special exhibitions. These exhibitions highlight individual artists like myself, art movements, and thematic trends. Museums, galleries, libraries, artists, private collectors, and central banks from around the world have generously loaned their collections for exhibition at the Board.
My Show will represent one of three exhibitions of loaned artworks presented by The Board in 2009-2010. These exhibitions are displayed in the atrium of the Eccles Building. Exhibitions are also open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except federal holidays. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance. For reservations and further information, please call (202) 452-3778 or fax (202) 736-5680.
