Winner in the Patuxent Art League’s 18th Annual Open Juried Exhibition!

Mr Campbell is planning several Fine Art activities to finish out 2011 and bring in the 2012 calendar year. He plans to enter the National Portrait Gallery’e Annual Competition along with other exhibit opportunities this fall to include the China/US Cultural Exchange Organization and the Patuxent Art League.

Bruce’s most recent copy at the National Gallery of Art (NGA), by well-known American Artist Winslow Homer is the very popular painting, “Breezing Up- A Fair Wind” (dated 1876). The work is nearly 75% complete. Visitors, staff, and guests at the NGA are providing comments and feedback of recognition. Mr Campbell stated that he is humbled by the positive commentary and acknowledgements of accomplishment. He plans to complete the Homer painting by calendar year’s end.
